What is Cambridge AS & A Level?

Cambridge AS & A Level (Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level) is a globally recognised pre-university qualification for students aged 16–19, developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). What is the difference between AS Level and A Level?

AS Level (Advanced Subsidiary) is typically studied in the first year (Year 12) and covers roughly half the content of a full A Level. Some students take AS Levels as standalone qualifications; others use them as the first stage of a full A Level taken over two years. A Level (Advanced Level) is the complete two-year qualification and is what most universities require for admission. In Cambridge International, students can take AS Level at the end of Year 12 (May/June session) and complete the full A Level at the end of Year 13.

How is Cambridge A Level different from IB Diploma?

Both are globally recognised pre-university qualifications accepted by universities worldwide.
