Which are the most preferred colleges in U.S. for the Indian students?

Criteria of choice

There are certain parameters like affordability, quality of education worth of the price and the presence of an international-minded community with an eclectic diversity of culture and traditions, majors offered, sports facility, religious affiliation, ethnic-geographic-ethnic diversity, When it comes to studying internationally, students have to consider a myriad of factors like applications, student visas, travel plans, insurance, and more.

sev7n.co.in career path analysts have thoroughly researched set standards of ranking-

Quality is the most salient parameter of ranking. Quality is gauged in terms of the course module design, expertise, theoretical and industry experience of the facilitators, the spirit of international mindedness being infused in the learning environment leaving space for collaborative discussion and reflection, and the promptness and reliability of the placement cell. The Quality Quotient also considers no bias in inviting rankings shared by individual university administrators based on their competitors’ analysis, rather it is the self-competence, consistency, sustainability and the self-challenge approach of the universities which we respect and consider the rank.

When the question arises on the percentage of international students’ enrolments and the upward rising trend in international admissions, it is a cogent statistic to be counted on backed up by evidence. Even selection of universities is customizable as ‘one size does not fit all’, for different universities have their excellence in different majors. Rankings are just a starting point. True that we want to offer the best guidance to every student. But generic rankings create false impression as there are different criteria involved in the selection process ranging from highly selective enrolment to open enrolments according to the capacity, difference in philosophy and learning environment, difference in the approach to facilitation and so on. Hence, on meeting the admission eligibility criteria, selection is an open choice given to all the students. Hence we adopt a custom ranking based on majors, state wise cost and financial aid offered.

The focus is on actual outcomes in terms of graduation and retention rates, student loan default rates, early and mid-career earnings of each student of every college/university. Some rankings do include salary information but they use average earnings for all students at the college. This leads to misleading information on the quality of its teaching-learning environment and the specializations offered. A college that focuses on liberal arts is almost always going to have graduates who earn less on average than a school focused on STEM programmes. That doesn’t mean that the liberal arts school is inferior to the STEM one. The average earnings for graduates of each major at a particular college is calculated. Then for that same major other colleges’ data on the salary package of the pass-out is comparatively analysed. If some are earning healthier salary package than their peers, it’s a strong indicator of ‘reward stimulus’. The weighted average of reward stimuli for the majors offered by a college is calculated, which is an indicator of the overall average reward stimuli for the graduates passing out of that college.
